This one-of-a-kind upcycled flannel was inspired by an old high school DIY. Back in high school, when flannels were the thing, I thrifted a men’s blue flannel but didn’t want anyone to know it was a men’s shirt. I dipped the hem and sleeves in bleach to turn them pink, thinking no one would really notice, but instead, friends were obsessed asking where I bought it! This flannel is made the same way, I dip-bleached the hem and sleeves to shift the blue plaid into soft pink, then cut the racing graphic from a T-shirt and stitched it onto the back using a visible stitch to match the overall bold, playful vibe of the piece. It’s meant to feel lived-in, nostalgic, and a little bit wild.
Please note: this garment is made from pre-loved materials and is intentionally imperfect. Each piece is reworked by hand, which means small variations, visible stitching, and minor signs of previous wear may be present. These characteristics are a natural part of the upcycling process and are considered part of the design, not defects. If there is anything major outside of these expected imperfections, it will be clearly noted in the description.
