This one-of-a-kind upcycled sweater started as a printed traditional hoodie. It's original graphic was removed for another project. Cutting out the image left a square opening in the center, which inspired this “shadow box” style design. I rebuilt the front using that negative space as a feature and finished it with a more modern, cropped silhouette to feel on-trend and easy to style with high-waisted pieces.
Together, the rescued sweater and new structure turned into a fresh, re-imagined piece.
