Got Your Back Corduroy Jacket is the result of one big happy mistake. I thrifted this corduroy jacket ages ago and never quite knew what to do with it… until I went to a networking event and met a woman running a food truck who apologized for “not having napkins” and told us to take as many as we wanted.
The “napkins” turned out to be fabric quote squares she’d ordered by accident and didn’t know what to do with. I knew immediately: they were meant for the back of this jacket. It’s a piece about chance, connection, and the reminder that someone’s always got your back.
Please note: this garment is made from pre-loved materials and is intentionally imperfect. Each piece is reworked by hand, which means small variations, visible stitching, and minor signs of previous wear may be present. These characteristics are a natural part of the upcycling process and are considered part of the design, not defects.
