This shoulder bag started as two placemats that had great texture but no real purpose, and a leftover tablecloth fringe I couldn’t stop finding new uses for. I sewed the placemats together to form the body of the bag, hand-painted the “FREE BIRD” feather design on the front, and used the fringe as a soft, boho-inspired strap. It’s the kind of grab-and-go bag that feels a little artsy, a little free-spirited, and perfectly imperfect in the best way.

Each item is reworked by hand, which means small variations, visible stitching, and minor signs of previous wear may be present. These characteristics are a natural part of the upcycling process and are considered part of the design, not defects.
